football game
"Those are our seets!"
"No these seets are ours. We sit here every game."
"Get out of my seets or im gonna kick your a**"
"If i buy you a subway sandwich, will you not kick my a** and give me your seets?"
"Deal"
around campus
"Should i go to class today?"
"No way. Why would you go to class?"
"Well i think he said we have a quiz today."
"Hes not gonna give a quiz today. And even if he does missing one or two quizes wont hurt."
"Youre so right. Plus suwannee is so much more important to me right now than a stupid quiz."
"For real bro."
party
"If youre not 18 you cant be at this party. its house rules just incase the cops come by."
"Yeah but i look older than 18 in my picture."
"It does say youre date of birth on the id"
"Oh right. well i just wont show him my id then."
"No youll just get out now."
walking to the stadium
"So do you think i should let my seven year old brother play beer pong with me?"
"It depends. Is he a noles fan?"
"Yeah"
"Then yes."
"Do you think thats a sin?"
"God will understand. its gameday. He would be more insulted if you didnt teach your seven year old cousin to play beer pong."
"So true. I love gameday."
Although we may be at college i have seen some of the dumbest people here. I dont understand how it being gameday makes it ok to give beer to a kid who hasnt even hit puberty yet! Maybe they were joking, but i had my first beer at 13, which in retrospect, was way too yuong. Plus, if he is your partner, your going to get worked and you will probably have to run naked, cause your going to get skunked. Noobs...
ReplyDeleteabout the not being 18 think, my friend brought his younger brother who is 16 up for this past weekend. We hit house party after house party and this kid was so shhwasted. Science says if you give 2 four locos to a 16year old he will throw up. We were never carded, we just partied hard. What party was that? maybe hosted by like the honor college?
so much can be resolved by offering a sandwhich. In the middle east for example, if we had provided all the hostiles with BLT's im sure we could have solved the conflict with out any lives. We should deploy "Jared" from subway to Bagdad.
Class is overrated, no need to go sit through 50 minute periods of nothingness. Food is way more important than lectures on the atomic mass of stuff that i dont care about. but if your giong to skip class at least make the walk to Fresh Food, its way better than swaunneee. Man up. Gotta get all that good protein!!!!!!!
Actually a seven year old probably has good BP skills, might be a solid partner....
Uh, I am reading these posts and I feel like I don't even go to the same school. All of these conversations make FSU seem right out of a really bad movie. I didn't think that any of the stereotypes had this much basis in real life.
ReplyDeleteThat said, the surreality of these conversations make them HEE-larious. Aside from the seven year old part. I am pretty sure that was made up. I hope so. It worries me.
Not into football. Still, the dialogue makes me want to be there. I think I would die laughing. I like the party one, too. Someone was a little desperate to get in there!
The second paragraph just sort of stokes my impatience for lazy people. These people are out of town and anything they could want or need goes on their parents' tab. Their only responsibility in the whole world right now is to show up to class. What a waste.

ReplyDeleteThis is rich! “Why would you go to class?” Better question why would you miss class? Tuition and book prices are insane, and you are going to blow it off because Suwannee is more important? Mind you, Suwannee has delicious food, but to blow off a quiz? My mother would have killed me. She would have said you didn’t just go all the way to Tallahassee to skip classes. That person is wasting their time if Suwannee is a lot more important than their education.
ReplyDeleteThe party one is funny, it’s the typical story of someone who knows they are restricted to do something for their age but they insist in being part of it. “Yea but I look older than 18 in my picture.” No son, that is not going to cut it for you this time. Have fun watching from the curb. (Insert maniacal laugh here.) I’m pretty sure they got in from the back though.
I know that there are some dumb people out there, but it is ridiculous. Why on earth would you let a seven year old play beer pong? Better question, why would you even take a seven year old to that type of environment? A little kid shouldn’t be drinking alcohol, it would destroy his liver. They say crazy stuff happens in Miami, but I am damn glad it is nothing like this.
wow, look at you guys getting way into the homework...
